Georgi Aleksandrov

About Me:

I am very passionate about game development. I work primarily in the sphere of programming.

In the summer of 2012, I started with web development. Doing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. After two years of doing web development, I discovered Unity. As Unity has the option of programming in JavaScript, I immediately took an interest in developing functionalities for games. Because I knew some JavaScript, I was able to start without much difficulty.

Pretty quickly after I started game development in JavaScript, I realized that most people suggested and used C# for any Unity programming functionality. By starting with some simple games like Snake and Space Invaders, I managed to get the hang of Unity.

At this time I have the experience of working in Unity for 9 years and using C# for a little more than 8 years. This period includes the tree years I studied in Falmouth University (Sep 2020 - Jun 2023). Currently I am learning and working on projects within Unreal 5 and studying C++.

In my time at Falmouth University I worked in three teams to make the following games:

• Tower Of Pertho (1st year)
• Interspersed (2nd year)
• Codeslicer (3rd year)
